Held this past March, Carlos Félix Weddings competed for the title of ‘Best European Videographer 2024’. This category is open to any videographer who can submit up to three films captured in 2022 or 2023.
The judges focused on evaluating each videographer's unique connection and styleThey also assessed the narratives, creativity, originality, and technical skill shown in the work.
Carlos Félix Weddings Makes the Top Ten Wedding Videographers at BODAF EUROPE 2024. The finalists for the Top Ten Wedding Videographers were: This is us films (Portugal), Made in Video (Spain), Hugo Sousa Films (Portugal), Duarte WV (Portugal), Carlos Félix Weddings (Spain), Cornet Films (Spain), Click and Rec (Spain), Adrián Toscano (Spain), MDM Wedding (Italia), Rice & Roses (Spain), Yes and Tonic (España) y Native Birds (Portugal).
The jury scores were: Made in Video (17 points), This is Us Films (15 points), and Hugo Sousa Films (15 points). The following positions, in order, were awarded to: Duarte WV, Click and Rec, Carlos Félix Weddings, Cornet Films, Native Birds, Yes and Tonic, Rise & Roses, MDM Wedding, and Adrián Toscano.
BODAF EUROPE 2024
Europe’s premier Wedding Congress took place in Barcelona, attracting dozens of professionals from the image industry. Over two days, attendees enjoyed conferences, Master Classes, Keynotes, social activities, and a commercial space spanning more than 3,000 square meters.
The Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc served as the event’s venue, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and creative design spaces, making this international event a must for industry professionals.

Undoubtedly, the largest photography congress in Europe, BODAF EUROPE 2024 featured a distinguished panel of judges, including Daniel Ribeiro, The Ferros, Everbay, Joy Zamora, Anna from Ginger’s Eyes, Keko Rangel, Os Pixel, and Gala Stories.
Event Highlights
BODAF EUROPE 2024 introduced many exciting innovations and unique elements that delighted both participants and attendees. Simultaneous translation (most conferences were translated into multiple languages: English, French, and Spanish), networking (the standout feature of the Photo Forum Fest is the welcoming atmosphere conducive to building business connections and growing as a photography professional), and an impressive range of conferences (over fifty sessions on photography, portraiture, weddings, photojournalism, family, and nature) contributed to the event’s success.
The event is particularly celebrated for its unforgettable "Party"an essential highlight for all attendees. The choice of Barcelona —a city blending art, architecture, Mediterranean climate, and museums—was perfect for this event. Additionally, the "Life Shooting" sessions provided specialized insights into portraiture, technique, editing, and workshops.
From March 13 to 15, BODAF EUROPE 2024 hosted compelling talks by renowned professionals. For Carlos Félix Weddings, participating in this year’s event and being ranked among the Top Ten Wedding Videographers was a truly unique experience.
BODAF EUROPE 2024 also introduced new categories in photographywith awards for Photographer of the Year and Best Wedding Booked of the Year, along with three individual awards and the New Talent 2024 award..
In the videography category, two awards were presented: Videographer of the Year and Best Trailer of the Year.
